Glow Wild is Sussex's spellbinding illuminated trail to celebrate the hidden heroes of the natural world. The event, which took place in the run up to Christmas, is held at the Royal Botanical Gardens. In 2020, EFS Europe were invited to install temporary flooring at the event for the first time ever! Extra carparking was installed as well viewing pads throughout the gardens, which were brought to life with glowing lanterns, mesmerising projections, immersive soundscapes, and glistening torches of fire.

EFS was commissioned to install 1150m2 of Hex Road as an extra car park for 48 cars as well as 800m2 of Temp-A-Path with geomembrane to allow visitors to safely navigate the enchanting lantern trail.

The event, which took place from the 10th December attracted 72500 Christmas merrymakers, determined to celebrate the festive season under the cloud of the pandemic. The last 4 days of the event unfortunately had to be cancelled due to Covid-19 lockdown restrictions.

Speaking about the event, EFS's Managing Director, Jeremy Simpson said: "With Temp-A-Path already in use at Kew Gardens in 2019 and again in 2020, the product had proven itself to the event organisers who knew it would stand up to the anticipated heavy footfall. We supplied the flooring with geo-membrane to further protect the beautiful gardens. We were delighted to be asked to supply Glow Wild, which was another knock out success with three brand-new artists creating stunning installations."
