The magical Christmas winter wonderland at Kew Gardens is now in its 9th year. Thousands of festive revellers are enjoying the yuletide season at Kew's spellbinding winter trail which lights up the evening skies from 17thNovember to 9th January with over one million lights on display.
Via EFS's temporary pathways, visitors can journey through the annual after-dark festivities with family and friends, as they discover sparkling tunnels of light, dancing waterside reflections, and trees drenched in jewel-like colours on their way to the panoramic Palm House light display.
This is the third time EFS has been commissioned by Kew Gardens to provide the pedestrian flooring for this very special event. 2200 sqm of Temp-A-Path was installed, with the install taking just two and half days. Walkways were created so event goers can journey through the mesmerising flickering flames in the Fire Garden, spot larger-than-life illuminations and say hello to Father Christmas along the way.
The EFS team also created including a 775smq catering pod with its Temp-A-Path flooring where delicious independent street food vendors are offering tasty festive delights, from hot food and sweet treats to spiced winter warmers and hot chocolate.
Jeremy Simpson, EFS's Managing Director said: "We were delighted to be asked to work with Kew Gardens again on this very special event. Thousands of visitors are relying on the temporary walkways to get them around the event safely and enabling them to adhere to social distancing regulations. Our team will uplift the flooring when the event has concluded, returning the gardens back to their normal glory."
